Best Big Man in the NBA Hall of Fame

Chamberlain won seven scoring, nine field goal percentage, and eleven rebounding titles, along with being the only player in NBA history to average more than 50 points in a season and to have scored a 100 points in a single NBA game. Chamberlain won two NBA titles, four regular-season Most Valuable Player awards, NBA Finals MVP, 13 All-Star Games appearances, and selected ten times to the All-NBA team.

During Kareem's 20 year career in the NBA he scored 38,387 points which is the career high points in league history. He recorded six Most Valuable Player Awards, six NBA titles, six regular season MVP awards and two Finals MVP awards. He was selected to the all NBA Team fifteen times and an all time record of nineteen NBA All-Star appearances. He averaged 24.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.6 blocks per game.

Russel a five-time winner of the NBA Most Valuable Player Award and a twelve-time All-Star, and won eleven NBA Championships during his thirteen-year career with the Boston Celtics. He led the NBA in rebounds four times and tallied 21,620 total rebounds in his career and scored 14,522 career points. He also won a gold medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics as captain of the U.S. national basketball team.

Hayes is placed at the eighth spot on the all time scoring list with 27,313 points and sixth in rebounds with 16,279. He won the 1968 scoring title and played in twelve straight NBA All-Star Games from 1969 to 1980. As a rookie he led the NBA in scoring with 28.4 points per game along with averaging 17.1 rebounds per game and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Team. He is still the only rookie to have lead the NBA in scoring.

Cowens rookie season he averaged 17.0 points per game and 15.0 rebounds per game, and was named the NBA's Rookie of the Year award. During his NBA career, he averaged 17.6 points and 13.6 rebounds per game, was selected to the NBA All-Star team 7 times, was named to the All-NBA Second Team three times and as a member of the Celtics' Cowens was on the 1974 and 1976 NBA Championship teams.

Malone was named NBA Most Valuable Player 3 times and is the first player in NBA history to earn five consecutive rebounding titles averaging 13 per game. He is second in free throws attempted (11,090) and made (9,018).

I admit, its hard to compare him to modern players.  However, he dominated his era.  In fact, his play forced the league to outlaw goal-tending early in his career.

Only had 3 prime years, but during that time he made his presence known. One of the most well-rounded centers to play the game.

One of the best defensive centers of all time.
