Best Fantasy Baseball Player for 2008

Miguel Cabrera
This guys is going to explode now that he's in Detroit and is in that lineup. He's been in the bigs for a few years now and will be reaching his peak power age this year.
Alex Rodriguez

  Jose Reyes
If he doesn't cool off at the end of last year - he might already be the top guy.
Matt Holliday
28 years old. Has been improving every year. Batted .340 last year. Plays in thin air. Could be in for another monster year and if he adds to his HR total could end up as the top guy.
Ryan Braun
Had unbelievable stats in less than 120 games last year. Compares favorably to a young Pujols. Teams will have a hard time pitching around him with Fielder in the lineup.
Jake Peavy
Finally put it all together to have a dominant year last year. No reason he won't get better. Young and plays in a pitcher's park. Not as much scrutiny with all the hype surrounding Santana entering the NL.
Adam Dunn
A bit of a sleeper pick... and, as a Reds fan, a homer pick (a slomer). Still young. Has always had rare combination of power and OBP numbers. Taking on new role as a veteran leader. Will be heart of strong young lineup. Comfortable in his role - has support of manager and the owner. Could have breakout season.
Chase Utley

  Hanley Ramirez

  David Wright

  Ryan Howard
This guy was Babe Ruth two years ago (58 hrs 148rbis .313 .425). Average dropped almost 50pts and struck out 199 times last year - was it an aberration or the norm? His second half of 2006 was a lot like A-Rod's fast start last year. Just signed a new contract after winning the largest amount in arbitration ever - could challenge for the top spot.
Curtis Granderson
Young Tiger's player with a good bat and speed. Will get you a lot of the forgotten stats.
Johan Santana

  Magglio Ordonez

  Josh Hamilton
