Magic vs. BirdThe two best players in the country on the two best teams faced off in the 1979 Final Four championship game. Magic Johnson led the Michigan State Spartans to the championship over Larry Bird’s Indiana State Sycamores. To this day, this game remains the highest rated game in the history of televised college hoops.

Bob Knight’s Indiana Hoosiers complete an undefeated season by cutting down the nets after beating Michigan in the championship game. The Hoosiers are the last team to go undefeated.

With Chris Webber announcing his retirement, I'm reminded that I cannot ever hear "Webber" without thinking about that timeout.
Haha. The Webber timeout was great. How great were the announcers too? Was that Packer and Nantz? "oh he walked he walked the referee missed it.." hahaha..after c-webb gets the board ...Great! Then the rest just tops it off after that. wow. I liked the announcers call of that whole situation too...hahaha..
