Most Disappointing MLB Team in 2008

Seattle Mariners
The Mariners are currently 24-42. They are on pace to become the first team in Major League baseball history to lose 100 games while having a payroll over 100 million dollars.
Detroit Tigers
The Tigers made the big offseason trade and with the addition of Miguel Cabrera were supposed to smash their way to the World Series, however after an inconsistent offense and lack of pitching the Tigers find themselves at 28-37.
Cleveland Indians
The Cleveland Indians were 1 win away from winning the World Series last year(sorry Rockies, you weren't going to beat any of the AL playoff teams). And now this year they sit at 30-36. Travis Hafner and Victor Martinez have both struggled miserably this season and are both currently injured. While the starting pitching has been very good, the offense and relief pitching has been terrible.
Colorado Rockies
The Rockies, after representing the NL in the World Series last season find themselves in last place in the NL West with a 26-39 record. I would love to go further in-depth into their struggles but they are the Rockies and I haven't paid attention to them since 1995 when Andres Galarraga, Ellis Burks, Larry Walker, Dante Bichette and Vinny Castilla mashed the Rockies into the Playoffs. As a consolation Coors Field is a very nice stadium.
