Well, I must say I am very happy to see that Derek Jeter was already on this list and I didn't need to add him. He is easily the most overrated player in baseball he is a top 10 offensive shortstop who scores a ton of runs because of the offense around him and then he is one of the worst defensive shortstops in the game.

Im not sure if JD Drew and Adrian Beltre really belong on this list...if this was most over paid players then there is probably an argument but neither of them are exactly hyped or talked about so I feel that makes them hard to be overrated.

Seeing as how about a year ago Old-Hoss and myself discussed Jeter and his ability I don't feel like getting into that again but if you look at Jeter's stats (both offensive AND defensive) it is clear that he is one of the best shortstops in the game, and isn't overrated. And trust me, I hate him and the Yankees as much as the next guy, but feelings aside, Jeter is good. Damn good.
